Yes, another one. That’s the reality of this weird time we’re living in. Whether you’re only following your local news, social media, all the headlines, or just getting updates from your neighbor, by now it’s absolutely impossible to escape it.

What does that change for this blog? Nothing except maybe more posts as we sequester ourselves and try to remain healthy while still meeting the needs of our family. This time is completely unprecedented and so very strange — I imagine that is the sentiment you, dear reader, feel as well.

I am so excited to be joining back up with my friends Lily and Amanda at The Hybrid Home in launching their very own mastermind group for bloggers. ‘The Oak Grove Collective’ is a private Facebook group that aims provide a safe place for gathering, sharing, and encouraging other bloggers in their social media adventures.

One of my goals for 2019 for this blog was to post more regular content and utilize social media in a beneficial way to engage with my followers and potential followers. In the age of the Internet and the accompanying social media darkness (that comparison that sucks us in yet isolates us from the real world), I want to be a safe place, a light in the dark for other moms who are seeking meaningful community.
