It started with an idea, back in 2010 when I first opened my Etsy storefront. Then in 2017 I realized motherhood is the journey of a lifetime, and one I could not walk alone. I realized I could write my stories down, as life became blog fodder. For years I felt like I was just the lady next door. I was a mom, but was I really ONLY a mom? Mission of Motherhood began to feel limiting somehow, as if I couldn’t share something that wasn’t strictly motherhood related.

MY FRIEND WROTE A BOOK. My friend who I met way back in middle school, who was one of the first people I ever met who knew Jesus, and whose testimony has continued to bless my life even though we live many states away and don’t talk as much as I’d like.

I said I’d be back to continue the updates on my little Squish and her delays, and then, well, life got in the way! But here I am, AGAIN, with more updates. Last I left off, Olivia was 11 months old and in 4 regular therapies: Physical Therapy (45 mins weekly), Occupational Therapy (45 minutes weekly), Speech Therapy (30 mins every other week) alternating with Feeding Therapy (30 mins every other week). Busy? Who, me?! Understatement of the year, but I digress. Since then she’s been busy meeting milestone and inchstone one after the other, like an actual hero. I’ve been absent lately—please forgive me, dear readers! This time of year brings with it seasonal depression and a bit of chaos, but I’m here! There’s lots of life updates to come, including progress on therapies for our youngest, school for the big kids, and more.
